POSLEDNÍ MOHYKÁN Jsem Poslední Mohykán, jsem Setonův Rolf Zálesák, jsem Sedící Býk, Henry David Thoreau, Dharmový tulák Gary Snydera, Geronimo, John Muir … jsem pravěký lovec, sběrač kořínků, indián z velkých plání, jsem ten, který vystupuje ze systému. Celkem velká část mých kamarádů (včetně mé maličkosti) zjistila, že konzumní život jim nepřináší to pravé ořechové a vrací se k původní identitě lovců, sběračů kořínků, indiánů. Ti odvážnější opouštějí město natrvalo a živí se tím, co si sami vypěstují, ti méně odvážní utíkají „ven“ o víkendech, kde úzce spjatí s přírodou, hledají svoji dávnou identitu. Tímto souborem chci vzdát hold všem čundrákům, vandrákům, euroindiánům, hikerům, alternativcům, „útěkářům“ z maringotek, karavanů, obytňáků, slaměných domů, jurt, chatiček, bivaků, kozích farem či jiných lesních přístřešků.

THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS

I am the last of the Mohicans, Seton’s Rolf In The Woods, Sitting Bull, Henry David Thoreau, Gary Snyder’s Dharma Bum, Geronimo, John Muir… I am a prehistoric hunter, root gatherer, an Indian from the Great Plains, the one who steps out of the system. Many of my friends (and I as well) have found out that life of consumerism isn’t a great fit for them and they return to their original identity of hunters, root gatherers, Indians. The braver ones leave cities for good and live by what they themselves can grow, the less courageous ones flee „outside“ at the weekends when they, closely entwined with nature, look for their ancient identities. This collection is my tribute to all wanderers, vagabonds, euroindians, hikers, free spirits, “run-aways from society” living in trailers, caravans, mobile homes, straw houses, yurts, cabins, bivouacs, goat farms or other forms of forest shelters.
